Step 1-- Authentication of Papers
All initial documents/copies calling for Apostille/attestation from MEA have to be first verified by the designated authorities of the State/Union Region where the document is released.

For Educational files, The papers must initially be confirmed by the Education and learning Division/ Personnel Development (HRD) of the worried State Government/Union Area. The verification must be done with the name as well as designation seal as well as the seal of the Department.

For Non-Educational files, Residence Department or General Administration Department (GAD) of the providing State Government/Union Area is the marked authorities to carry out the key attestation.
