Apostille Treatment:
Apostille from MEA can be done after attestation from pertinent State Govt. authorities. Apostille Certification Attestation treatment is needed when a person need legalisation of his document to be used in a participant nation of Hague Convention. The process of Apostille of certificates from Ministry of External Matters (MEA) of Federal government of India can be done on all Indian Certificates.

Step 1-- Authentication of Files
All initial documents/copies needing Apostille/attestation from MEA should be first confirmed by the assigned authorities of the State/Union Area where the file is released.

For Educational papers, The records should initially be proven by the Education Department/ Personnel Development (HRD) of the concerned State Government/Union Area. The verification needs to be done with the name and designation seal along with the seal of the Division.

For Non-Educational documents, House Department or General Administration Division (GAD) of the providing State Government/Union Region is the designated authorities to embark on the primary attestation. The attestation needs to be performed with the name and also designation seal in addition to the seal of the Department.

Commercial DocumentsThese are to be pre-authenticated by the corresponding Chambers of Commerce. The stamp of the respective Chamber of Commerce should be attached on each paper along with the name & classification of authorized notary.

Action 2-- Apostille of Papers
The Ministry of External Matters (MEA) afterwards, legalizes/Apostille the files on the basis of the signature of the assigned authorities of the State Government/Union Territory/Chambers of Business and attaches Apostille Sticker label on the reverse of the Original files.
