Step 1-- Verification of Papers
All original documents/copies needing Apostille/attestation from MEA have to be first confirmed by the marked authorities of the State/Union Region where the record is issued.

For Educational papers, The papers need to initially be proven by the Education and learning Department/ Personnel Advancement (HRD) of the worried State Government/Union Region. The authentication should be performed with the name as well as classification seal along with the seal of the Division.

For Non-Educational papers, Residence Division or General Administration Department (GAD) of the releasing State Government/Union Region is the marked authorities to take on the main attestation.
