Apostille Procedure:

Action 1-- Verification of Files
All original documents/copies needing Apostille/attestation from MEA must be first confirmed by the designated authorities of the State/Union Area from where the paper is released.

For Educational records, The records need to initially be confirmed by the Education and learning Department/ Human Resource Advancement (HRD) of the worried State Government/Union Territory. The authentication must be made with the name and also classification seal in addition to the seal of the Department.

For Non-Educational papers, House Division or General Administration Division (GAD) of the releasing State Government/Union Area is the designated authorities to take on the primary attestation.
