Step 1-- Authentication of Papers

For Educational records, The papers must initially be testified by the Education and learning Division/ Human Resource Advancement (HRD) of the worried State Government/Union Region. The authentication should be performed with the name as well as designation seal along with the seal of the Division.

For Non-Educational files, House Division or General Administration Department (GAD) of the issuing State Government/Union Territory is the assigned authorities to embark on the key attestation. The attestation needs to be performed with the name and classification seal as well as the seal of the Division.

Industrial DocumentsThese are to be pre-authenticated by the corresponding Chambers of Commerce. The rubber stamp of the respective Chamber of Commerce should be attached on each record along with the name & classification of licensed notary.

Action 2-- Apostille of Papers
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) thereafter, legalizes/Apostille the papers on the basis of the trademark of the marked authorities of the State Government/Union Territory/Chambers of Business and attaches Apostille Sticker on the reverse of the Initial documents.
